PSM launches dedicated FIFA World Cup 2026 coverage

Public Service Media Maldives (PSM) has unveiled the country's most ambitious football coverage project to date. Spanning all 48 teams, 16 host cities, and 104 fixtures across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, the new platform combines a bilingual public site with a dedicated CMS for the editorial team. Live scores stream in via the official RapidAPI feed, while a manual override path keeps the broadcast resilient when the upstream falters. PSM editor-in-chief Aishath Hassan said the platform was designed 'so the average Dhivehi-speaking fan never feels they're getting a translated, second-class experience'. Every match card, every report, every UI string is bilingual from the first commit.
